Two nurses working at a private hospital in Barasat, West Bengal, have been put on ventilator support after showing symptoms of Nipah virus infection. Samples have been sent to Kalyani AIIMS for testing, and preliminary reports suggest a possible Nipah infection. Both patients are in critical condition and currently admitted to isolation wards.
